Port Douglas is a stunning flyfishing destination where the tropical rainforest mountains meet the sea. There is a range of flyfishing opportunites here. Flyfishing the Daintree River you can target barramundi and mangrove jack, at the mouths of the various creeks where they meet the ocean you can target queenfish, golden trevally and giant trevally.
